Vacancy for Chicago Big Box fell 56 basis points from the Q1 to 10.63%. The completion of Home Depot’s 1.6 million SF build-to-suit at the Elwood Intermodal was the largest transaction of the year and marks the second million SF building completed this year. Currently, there are only three large vacancies in the Chicago market (defined as 750,000 SF spaces or greater). Full report linked below.
